  • WBC is a great church. The sermons and Sunday School classes are taught in a way that I can apply to my daily life, and I don't feel like I'm “being preached to.”
The staff and congregation are warm and friendly; don't be surprised if you leave Wednesday night service with a dessert to take home. It's like a big extended family.
WBC is a missions dedicated church, and has helped people not only locally, but around the world. The missionary spirit has filtered down to the youth group. My kids have gone on several trips to the raleigh rescue mission, the Ronald Mcdonald house, and SECU house to prepare meals for, and to hang out with the people there. They've also done mission work at the Kennedy children's home, the Appalachian Mountains, and this week, Lynchburg, Virginia.
Can't say enough good things about this church. Definitely worth being a part of. Hope to see you Sunday.

Experience at this church is horrible. The youth are awful, not all most. I had a problem with the youth and had a meeting to try to find a solution. One of the youth brought this young man to church as a visitor who harassed my son for a year. It was time to stop it. No one at this church liked this young man but the father of the girl, who is a deacon of the church, said that if I filed a restraining order he would share my secrets. Well the only secrets he could share are the ones I told his hairdresser wife who is also in the church. Lots of class from a deacon!!!!??? I've gone to this church for 30 years and believe that the devil has been in it ever since David started attending. And if you want a good youth program for your kids run like heck because this is not the church for you. Devil Church that's what this is.
