  • I had been out of habit of going to church for a while. I was attending another Church in North Raleigh for a while but just wasn't meeting my needs. NRCC has a great community feel and good people. The pastor is great at making the connection in applying the bible teachings and text to todays world, and how we can apply what we learn. NRCC is my new Church.

  • During my 4 years at NRCC, I have been able to examine my faith, let go of some religious baggage from my past, and find hope and purpose in my own spiritual life. I found a community of people where there is always a place at the table; everyone is welcome, and every voice is listened to. I've learned about resting and restoration through meditation, self-awareness through the enneagram, and how to share God's love with my city and the world through meaningful action. I'm finding ways of understanding God and myself that open my hands & my heart to give and receive grace.

My children are learning important truths through the stories of our Christian heritage, in beautifully applicable ways that help them understand God's love for them, and that teach them how to show love to one another. I was very fearful when they were babies, that I wouldn't know what to teach them about God/faith/salvation/etc. But as they tell me what they learned in class each week through songs or art or storytime, they are helping me re-establish my foundation. I appreciate the vocabulary they are gaining to express their own thoughts about God, and their understanding at age 6 & 4, that they are on the beginning of their own spiritual journey.

If you're looking for a place to ask tough questions, to explore the mysteries of the universe and the mysteries of your soul, come join us.

  • One of the best decisions I've ever made is attending this church. Lots of room to question, you can be yourself, and there's a lot of supportive people here. If you're a fan of personal growth and spiritual development, this is a great place for you. The word "transform" seems to be something many here connect with. God can be found in a lot of places. God is good, we are safe. All who are here are welcome.
