  At Community UCC I have found friends to stand with me at rallies for justice and to sit with me in meditative prayer. My talents and out-of-the-box ideas are welcomed. We laugh - a lot! I learn from conversations with teens, young professionals, parents, and elders, and am inspired by the breadth of their spiritual practice and how seriously they engage their faith in what they do every day. To try to describe the congregation with words like "progressive, open and affirming, extravagant welcome" is to hint at a deeper, shared spiritual understanding - that wherever you are on life's journey, you are welcome here. God is still speaking!
