  The people at Nativity are really nice. They are very welcoming and genuine about working to make the world a better place based on the teachings of Jesus. I have made some very good friends here.

  Church of the Nativity's strengths are many: an inclusive congregation where everyone can find a place--from children to seniors, different races, viewpoints and preferences bound by a warm, supportive community. A congregation that goes outside its walls to help others with very active outreach efforts, serving locally and internationally. An innovative church that offers, within established liturgy, a large variety of ways to worship with an emphasis on strong music and lay participation. A focus on Spirituality in the Arts, providing ways to experience God that go beyond words. A place where children are integral, ranging from weekly children's sermons, an active Christian education and youth program to this year's A Charlie Brown Christmas children's Christmas pageant, unusual themes for Vacation Bible School, youth trips to inner cities and other countries and youth musicians sharing their talents at regular services. And best of all: a place to have fun, not take each other too seriously and "lighten up", share the joys and offer support among the community, strengthening the community to offer and nurture others.
