  It is rare to find a church that values family and the Holy Spirit like CLF. Their love for people and love for Jesus is amazing. When you come to this church you can count on being welcome and feeling like family. The preaching is Bible-based and the worship is spirit-driven. It feels like a family worship time every sunday.

  The preaching was great, for a time, although there was confusion among the leadership about grace. Some leaned more towards holiness, while others leaned on a sort of cheap grace view of God's love and fatherhood. The leaders have a high view of their own authority, as they have adopted the covering theology of 'unquestioning submission' in John Bevere's 'Under Cover' and Watchman Nee's 'Spiritual Authority.' This authoritarian perspective makes it almost impossible to experience genuine friendship with the leaders.

  Amazing ACTS 2 New Testament Church!
  The leadership have all known each other for 20 plus years and actually live life together as friends (they are not just a staff but true spiritual family). The love the Word of God and even more the very Presence of God in their worship and daily lives. They believe in 5 fold ministry and do strongly emphasis the command of being a disciple of Jesus more than just a believer in him. They take their roles as leaders and pastors in the lives of their people serious. They often mention the fact that as leaders they will give an account to God for the people they serve. The body itself is amazing! Be prepared to be greeted and loved on when you show up. These guys take kingdom life and spiritual family serious. I personally love this (finally real church!) The church itself is made up of many nationalities and all age groups. They also have a thriving children's program and a church school. These guys love praise and worship and workreally hard to allow the Holy Spirit to show up in their meetings in ways that is appropriate yet ministers and edifies the body both through the word and then through personal ministry. This is Not a church for those folks more interested in a religious meeting than a moment with God. I give CLF 5 stars! Go on guys bring Jesus and His Kingdom to Raleigh.
